The Adamello Brenta Natural Park
We are in the heart of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park, the region's largest protected landscape, which boasts an extraordinary wealth of biodiversity: flora, fauna, Alpine lakes, waterfalls, and ancient woodlands which are home to brown bears and two iconic mountain ranges: the UNESCO-listed Brenta Dolomites to the east and the Adamello-Presanella range to the west.
A unique landscape which has been declared a UNESCO Biosphere.
The Adamello Brenta Natural Park protects an area of 620 km2, the largest of its kind in Trentino, and is home to more than 100 different animals and wild flowers, while its unusual geology is truly one-of-a-kind.
To the west, the Adamello-Presanella range is a land of water, with mighty glaciers, gushing streams, spectacular waterfalls and dozens of enchanting Alpine lakes.
To the east are the spiky summits of the Brenta Dolomites, a UNESCO-listed scene of towers, needles and huge overhanging rockfaces, mountains whose rocks bear witness to a landscape that emerged from the sea millions of years ago.
